When buying shoes it is said to be wise in getting a ½ size bigger for children in case their feet get a wee bigger in a month or more. I for one have experienced having to part with small sizes of used girl’s shoes of both my daughters which have been used just a handful of times. High cost of having durable and shoes that fit is a problem for most parents, we don’t get much mileage out of our kids shoes anymore because of this generation’s growth spurts. That’s why when I saw an article about Inchworm shoes, it made me pay attention. Hank Miller, according to the video that came with the article is also a father and I would assume that the invention of the Inchworms was to address parent’s problems. The shoes can be adjusted by pressing a button at the sides and see the indicator at the souls as to how many sizes it has expanded to. Upon observation, the shoes have an accordion type middle where all the stretching comes from. The shoes don’t look odd despite the stretching feature, Inchworms come in several colorful and stylish designs which my child won’t mind wearing or parents paying for. There’s something about the width though, some feet grow wide and long at the same time. As far as the info-video goes that wasn’t talked about, maybe soon when Hank Miller’s shoes gets on-line.
